Botanical Gardens

Beauty and nature await you

Walking trails will lead you through a color wave of beautiful flowers, by fresh water ponds, a mahogany forest, cactus thickets, and meadows. Orchids, bromeliads, ferns, cacti abound. Some lily pads are two feet wide! A paradise for nature lovers.

You will see butterflies, the endemic Blue Iguana, land crabs, lizards, and a variety of birds, including Cuban parrots, the West Indian whistling duck and Caribbean doves.

A West Indian style Visitors’ Center welcomes you as you enter the gardens. As you proceed through the park, Heritage Garden, a replica of a traditional Cayman home site, gives you an idea of how life used to be on the Cayman Islands.

If you are a nature lover, your Grand Cayman vacation won’t be complete until you visit the Botanic Park on Grand Cayman Island!

Ask Paula to tell you how to get to the Botanical Garden by bus, taxi or car.

“We had a LOVELY time! Harbour Heights was the perfect location for sure. We drove around the entire island and agree that we had the best spot. Our active teenage daughters loved snorkeling right in front of Harbour Heights!” Family of Four from Boston

“It is always difficult to make a decision from online information but in this case it was the right decision. This complex is small and has more oceanfront than many much larger resorts and hotels. For the fair skinned there are many options for staying on the beach and keeping out of the sun. But it was the balcony and it's view that held us most mornings and late afternoons.” Beverly from Michigan

“This location was fantastic. It's in walking distance to many restaurants & hotels but still, very private. The grounds & courtyard are beautiful and well maintained. The pool is fantastic! There's also a screened room with tables and a ping-pong table which our kids loved! We felt safe and the staff were helpful.” Kate
