The Cayman Islands National Museum guarantees a fascinating visit with the many dimensions of the Cayman Islands and the Caymanian people. Colorful and imaginative exhibits trace the Cayman Islands history, examining their present and looking toward their future. The museum takes you back to the first sighting of the islands by European explorers in 1503. It continues through the evolution of the Cayman Islands native industries of turtling and shipbuilding and examines Grand Cayman’s emergence as a financial mecca...
The Museum is open 9 to 5 most weekdays. It is a wonderful opportunity for visitors to immerse themselves in something other than the turquoise sea.
