What our Guests Say about Harbour Heights

“There’s no better place for a girlfriend getaway than Cayman! Languid lunches in the shade at Harbour Heights, sipping libations at Neptune’s, bone fishing on Little Cayman and fresh fish ceviche and mango slices after a hike along the coast on arid, rustic Cayman Brac! For a week’s respite from our busy lives, five BFF’s from childhood chose Cayman as our retreat, and we weren’t disappointed. From girl talk on the beach to shopping in Georgetown; from snorkeling and scuba diving to dinners and dancing under the sensational setting sun, we were captive to the island rhythm and the call of the turquoise ocean. Good friends, lush surroundings, and accommodations that were superb! What could be better?”

"We have been visiting Harbour Heights on 7 Mile Beach off and on for the past 10 years.  Each time we return, it is like returning to an old friend.  The management and staff are wonderful and go out of their way to see that everything is just right.  Our unit is very comfortable and having a meal on the deck overlooking the gardens and sea is like being in another world.  We love it and plan to return soon."

“As a Master Diver, and Dive Shop Owner who has been leading dive trips all around the world  for over 40 years, I can honestly say that some of my favorite diving over the years has been on Grand Cayman Islands. You can dive on every side of the Cayman Islands  for a different experience. And you can dive the sister islands for a day or so for variation.  I have stayed at Harbour Heights dozens of times, and without a doubt, it’s the friendliest place to stay on Cayman Island. Bud & Missy are terrific; they always make you feel welcome and the accommodations are “diver friendly” with easy access to the beach. I have a favorite condo here, but all of them are nice.

We were married on Good Friday, 2003 on Seven Mile Beach off of Boggy Sand Road in West Bay, Grand Cayman. Breathtaking view and ceremony! Our Caymanian Wedding Coordinator did a beautiful job. Of all of the places we have been to in the Caribbean, Grand Cayman is by far our favorite. Your condo at Harbour Heights was perfect! Like a "home away from home" - only tropical! We want to meet the "island artist" that did some of the paintings on the walls in the unit we stayed in! The people at Harbour Heights were very nice and accommodating and what a great location on Seven Mile Beach!

“We have been going to Harbour Heights on Cayman Island since 1979. My husband took his kids there before we were married. Then in 1983 we honeymooned there. This year we are returning for our 20th anniversary! Last year we took 3 condos and had all the kids and grandkids. Although we love sitting under the cabanas on the beach, the pool is the kids' favorite! The managers, Bud & Missy - are great - they always have good tips on where to go, what to do. And they really know how to throw a Rum Punch Party by the pool! Harbor Heights is located on the best part of 7-mile beach. There are palms & casuarinas for shade, and loads of sunny, private areas. Harbour Heights hasn't had the hurricane erosion some of the places down the beach have.”

“We've stayed at Harbour Heights several times and in three different units. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly - a wonderful place to bring the family. We've stayed elsewhere on Grand Cayman but prefer Harbour Heights - here you never feel isolated from the sand and the water - access is so convenient that the beach is almost an extension of your living room!”

The sense of peace is priceless, and it's that sense of peace we feel every time we visit Harbour Heights. Watching the cruise ships dock at dawn and depart at dusk, swimming in the Caribbean blue sea, or sitting next to the pool, We think Harbor Heights is the closest thing to heaven right here on earth.

It has been our winter destination since1990. We can leave Kentucky in the morning and be on Seven Mile Beach by early afternoon, a feat easily accomplished by flights from major hubs.

Because of the damage incurred by Hurricane Ivan, we took a rain check last year. Now we're ready to return to celebrate the rebirth of Grand Cayman island. How could we not? Home is where the heart is and staying at Harbour Heights is just another way of knowing we're "welcomed home!"

"Came to Harbour Heights on Cayman Island  for our honeymoon, and plan to return for a Cayman vacation with our family this fall.  Seven Mile Beach was great, plenty of space to spread out without being in someone’s way.  Took up snorkeling and want to try scuba diving sometime and Grand Cayman is the perfect place to learn."
