Coronavirus Update

We know that the Coronavirus is at the forefront of many of our friends’ minds with travel restrictions and quarantines. We here at Harbour Heights also share your concerns as we enjoy friendships with you that cross many different continents. Our government is responding to this pandemic as well. There are new bans and restrictions going into effect here on Cayman that you should be aware of.

Air Travel is to be shut down for 3 weeks to help slow the spread of the virus. Closure will start at 11:59pm on Sunday March 22. This ban covers not only Owen Roberts airport, but also Charles Kirkconnell International on Cayman Brac. Inter-island travel will be restricted to essential movement only. Private aircraft flights will also be shut down. There is a 60-day ban on cruise ship arrivals and a ban of public gatherings of more than 50 people. As of yesterday, anyone arriving on the island will be required to isolate for 14 days.

We here at Harbour Heights truly hope these measures keep all our families safe and healthy. We understand that cancellations of guests’ stays may be in order due to the new travel ban here as well as travel bans in effect in our guest’s country of origin. Please know that we are working with each of you to find a solution that works for everyone.

As always, we look forward to seeing you once this passes. You are all family to us.
