Recently a 7.7 magnitude earthquake hit Grand Cayman, with buildings shaking and several aftershocks occurring. Of most importance, there have been no reports of major injuries or loss of life.
At Harbour Heights, our family of owners and management immediately ensured that everyone convened onto the parking lot. Within hours, all returned to either their original locations or relocated temporarily to other on-site condos.
Our “team on the ground” has worked consistently during the past days to inspect the property and ensure that our vacation home is back in order. In fact, you may have seen in person or online the 5 sink holes that sprouted up in the garden and grounds area.
To date, engineers have inspected and passed all of our buildings for occupancy as both owners and guests are relaxing on-site. A stellar crew of workmen is dealing with landscaping issues and, of course, the sink holes are now filled.
All of this was accomplished with the cooperation of our on-site guests. Their patience and understanding permitted us to work quickly and efficiently. We greatly appreciate you!
Thanks to all of you who share in the experiences of Harbour Heights. You make, and keep, it a wonderful vacation destination!
