Experience the culture of Grand Cayman

Vacation like you’ve never vacationed before….

If you need a break from the sun and the sand at Harbour Heights’ premium location on Seven Mile Beach, try taking in some of the islands’ rich history and culture.

The history of the Cayman Islands includes both the intrigue of island-hopping pirates and the fascinating cultural richness of the people native to Grand Cayman, Little Cayman and Cayman Brac.

Throughout the year there are numerous festivals, art fairs and live theatrical performances highlighting the art, music and literary legacy of the Cayman culture. You do not want to miss any of the lively events going on around Grand Cayman during your visit.

Come and experience PEDRO ST. JAMES NATIONAL HISTORIC SITE or commonly known as Pedro’s “Castle”!

Towering three stories and sporting stone walls 18 inches thick, the Great House at Pedro Point dwarfed the surrounding single-level “wattle-and-daub” dwellings that were its neighbors in 1780.

Come and experience Pedro Theatre!

As you walk through the doors, it becomes clear that you’re about to witness something more interesting than a simple movie. To your right is a re-creation of the Pedro St. James Great House. To your left is a facade representing the steps where so many historic events occurred.
